2004 Southeast Regional Image Makers Photography Contest & Exhibit
Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami hosted the 3rd Annual Image Makers regional contest sponsored by Circuit City, a national photography program and contest conducted by Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
Louis Aguirre, from Deco Drive entertained a group of kids during the reception.
A total of 354 pieces were judged by age group and category (color, black & white, digital and alternative) total of 20 winners. Winning pieces were exhibited at Art+ Fine Art Gallery at Merrick Park where Mr. & Mrs. Jean Bernard also hosted the Press Event. Louis Aguirre, from Deco Drive presented the awards to contest winners. The winners of the Regional competition will proceed to the National competition where the four 1st place winners of each category will receive a $3,000 scholarship.
