Santa to Make a Grand Entrance Landing a Helicopter on the Club’s Baseball Field

Oh, what fun awaits at Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade! MLB All-Star, entrepreneur and philanthropist Alex Rodriguez (A-Rod) and A-Rod Corp will once again spread joy with toys for Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade youth members this holiday season.
On Wednesday, Dec. 10, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., A-Rod andteam members from A-Rod Corp will present age-appropriate toys to youth members aged five to 17 at Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade’s Hank Kline Club.
During the event, youth members and their families will enjoy holiday activities, including a petting zoo, face painting and arts & crafts provided by Tinez Farms, a bounce house, a Christmas card-making station, visits with Santa, photo opportunities, food and more cheer. Target will be providing holiday gifts.
Santa will even make a grand entrance by landing a helicopter on the Club’s baseball field at 3:30 p.m.
Before A-Rod became a baseball star, he learned to play the game at Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade’s Hank Kline Club. He flourished at the Club, staying a member until the day he was drafted by the Seattle Mariners. He is now a television baseball analyst for FOX Sports and ESPN, and a longtime board member for Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade and also for Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
